A monthly stock take doesn't need to be a full recount of every SKU. Focus on high-value and fast-moving items: count e-liquid bottles by brand and flavour, count pod packs by model, and spot-check disposables if you still sell them.
Use the system's expected count versus actual count to identify discrepancies. A difference of 5% or less is normal for small shops. A difference above 10% suggests either data entry errors, theft, or unrecorded sales.
